Originally from Arlington, TX, Dr. Giang Nguyen discovered his passion for dentistry early in life and has brought the excitement for a new kind of dental experience to Houston. Elevate Dentistry was founded from the vision to create an inviting practice where patients feel like family and personalized care is always the top priority.
He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and is currently working towards a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He is passionate about shaping the next generation and loves having pre-dental students and new dental graduates shadow him. With expansive knowledge and skill, he specializes in implant dentistry, surgical extractions, sinus lifts, overdentures, and guided bone regeneration to enhance patient outcomes.
Dr. G loves spending time with his friends and family making memories and growing deeper connections. An avid traveler, he enjoys discovering new destinations, local cuisine, and immersing himself in unique cultures. He stays active with regular workouts to keep his body fit and mind sharp. His philosophy is to approach everyday with gratitude and curiosity to find beauty and fulfillment in the small meaningful moments in life.

Dr. Veral Patel always wanted to be in the healthcare field. He was pursuing psychiatry when he discovered the more hands-on field of dentistry. While attending dental school, he met Dr. Nguyen and they dreamed about creating a dental practice together. Elevate Dentistry was created from their desire to craft a practice where relationships are genuine and patients feel valued and supported.
He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Connecticut. Continuing his education, he completed his Masters of Biological Studies from Tufts University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Currently, he is working towards the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), an honor earned by only 6% of dentists. He is passionate about providing comprehensive care including Invisalign, endodontics, surgical implants, periodontal treatment, and cosmetic dentistry.
From the Northeast, Dr. V enjoys spending time with his family and friends finding joy in their shared experiences and laughter. He expresses his creativity and passion for craftsmanship through woodworking and metal working. These precision skills carry into his dentistry. He also loves cooking and sharing his homemade meals with loved ones.

Originally from Houston, TX, Dr. Duc Lam’s passion for healthcare led him to pursue a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, followed by a Medical Doctorate from McGovern Medical School. His rigorous surgical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center and anesthesia training at Ben Taub General Hospital prepared him to operate across the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Lam is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His areas of expertise include navigation-guided dental implant surgery, wisdom teeth extractions, maxillofacial trauma, Botox, and oral pathology. Dedicated to education, Dr. Lam serves as an adjunct associate professor at UT School of Dentistry, mentoring students and treating patients at the Healthcare for the Homeless in Houston clinic. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and maintains hospital privileges at Memorial Hermann Memorial City.
Outside of work, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and three brothers, often engaging in competitive pickleball matches. A black belt in Tae Kwon Do, he also practices Wushu Kung Fu, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, American-style boxing, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga. His love for travel and photography takes him to scenic destinations around the world. Dr. Lam is affiliated with USA Boxing as a ringside physician for amateur and professional matches. When he’s not traveling or practicing martial arts, he’s likely planning his next snowboarding adventure. Dr. Lam speaks both English and Vietnamese, embracing his heritage and fostering connections with a diverse range of patients.
